C. Milton Wright High School is excited to welcome a new principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Mr. Bryan Pawlicki brings more than two decades of experience in education and leadership to the Mustang community.
This school year marks his 20th with Harford County Public Schools, where he has served as both assistant principal and principal at multiple schools including Havre de Grace High School, North Harford High School, and now C. Milton Wright High School. Before joining Harford County Public Schools, he taught science, including biology, earth science, and marine science, at Glen Burnie High School in Anne Arundel County, and served as an assistant principal in Carroll County.
When asked what excites him most about joining a new school, Mr. Pawlicki pointed to the people. “Building relationships and working with new teachers and students” is at the heart of his leadership approach. His vision for C. Milton Wright High School centers on ensuring students not only achieve academically but also discover who they are and how they learn, preparing them to step confidently into the future as contributors to their community. Families and students can expect an approachable principal who values open communication and connection.
At his core, Mr. Pawlicki says he is an educator who finds joy in student success, whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the field. He also feeds on the energy students bring to learning and growth. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, often outdoors on new adventures. A Buffalo, New York native, he especially looks forward to snow and winter sports. He even once completed the world’s longest single-day canoe endurance race, paddling 70 miles down the Susquehanna River.
Music also plays an inspirational role in his life, with songs like Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ and Garth Brooks’ The Dance serving as reminders of perseverance and reflection.
With his experience, vision, and energy, he is eager to lead the Mustang community into a successful year.
